Whether speaking to veterans who have just return to civilian life, comforting bereaved men and women through her work in hospice, or teaching women’s groups how to navigate life’s issues from a Biblical perspective, Simler-Goff’s heartfelt caring and transparency comes through.

Whether telling the story of a neighborhood acquaintance who worked on The Manhattan Project, giving her unique viewpoint on world events in her In The News Section, writing openly about her struggle to lose 150 pounds in her Button Journey stories, or blogging about what it is like to  live every day as a follower of Jesus Christ, Simler-Goff shares her heart with her readers. 

Simler-Goff is a born-again Christian who lives and breathes the Acts 2:38 experience. She respects those who have chosen other faiths, and has many friends who do not call Jesus Christ Lord. But for Simler-Goff,  Jesus Christ is the only way. “He dramatically changed my life,” Simler-Goff says, “and I want the world to know about it.”

Her first article as a Christian Journalist was “Instant Motherhood: How a Twenty-Year-Old Survived” published in 1999. Since then, Simler-Goff’s articles have appeared in secular and religious publications, including work-for-hire book projects.
